about

[FR]

For five more or less busy years, Tartine de Contrebasse has given a lot of sweat and blood in order to explore, assimilate, torture and regurgitate as less serious reviews as possible, about weird and not so weird music, internationally acclaimed or worshipped by twelve Peruvians, based on amen breaks or dishwasher samples.
In a highly narcissistic process, we thought we could mark the occasion. So we gathered various artists whom we particularly enjoy, and whom have been nice enough to provide us with unreleased tracks. The result is representative of our (absence of) editorial line: as coherent as the phylogeny of a seafood platter.
Of course we don’t do it for glory, but we can’t help to hope that you’ll be a lot to find in this a small (or even a big) something to tickle your ear, and to bring you to dive into the discography of one or more of these artists. Enjoy.

Beyond the artists mentioned below, whom we can’t thank enough, special thanks-kisses, for their help, their meaningful advice or their bloody critics to Ayrton and Maku, Mads and Simon, Boris and Thibault, Paskine and the Supersonic, Antonin and Adrien L., the Amplitoudes crew and Radio Campus Paris, Igorrr and Jacques Cheminade, Folliot and the few freaks who’ve been following us for five years.
