[FR]

While Incoherent Phylogeny was barely being released, its sequel was already underway behind the scenes. And after two years of erratic yet passionnate publications, of the recruitment of artists as long and uncertain than rewarding in the end, we finally present you the 17 tracks of the second volume, whose only constant is still to have none.
17 near-unreleased compositions offered by as many artistic entities, to feed a project driven a bit by the conviction that a trio of music review cripples was able to unite the sounds they love by counting on the kindness of their idols from the shadows, but above all by the longing to awake the curiosity of their audience, as small as it is, and give it the desire, as modest as it is, to quench it by exploring the respective discographies of the musicians this compilation puts the spotlight on.
As rich in colors, hopefully, than the photography of the Pararistolochia illustrating it, we wish you to find in our vision of an incoherent phylogeny something to fulfill your very coherent musical pleasures. Happy listening.

We will obviously never thank enough all the artists that had the generosity to provide us sounds for Incoherent Phylogeny 2, nor Vladislav Isaev and particularly Vincent Villuis, whose sound advices and expertise in audio mastering allowed to polish our baby to perfection. But you are the ones to be thanked the most, precious readers of Tartine de Contrebasse, be it for seven years or seven days, because you have to be at least as stubborn as we are to be that faithful to us.

You can download Incoherent Phylogeny 2 on our Bandcamp. Yes, you can pay what you want. This means you are free to not give us anything like scumbags, but also to drop one or two measly euros. Working on the assumption that thou will do it, you shall know that those few denarii will entirely be plowed back into this opus, or better yet, let’s be crazy, the next one.
